Caregiver Asks Where to Start Looking for Services for Her Mom
Dear Carol: I’m caring for my mom in my home and while it’s going well enough, it’s stressful. My friends say that she should qualify for some services, but I don’t know where to start looking. Even a little break could help since I’m also raising kids and working. Dad wasn’t a veteran, and neither is she, or I’d look at the VA. Where do non-veterans start? – SK
