Dear Carol: I feel like I’m failing everyone because I can’t do everything well. I work full-time, and my kids are in middle school, so they need steady support with their many activities. My husband is great, but he travels, so during the week, I’m it. His parents are healthy and have each other, but my mom is widowed and older. She needs increasing support, but I don’t have time for a daily drive across the metro to check on her. While we talk on the phone regularly, I know in my heart that she needs more. I’d like to set up in-home services for her and then schedule my visits for Sundays when my husband can manage the kids. Is there anyone who can help me check into available options? – CO
